Ed Byrne  is a Perrier Award-nominated, Irish stand up comedian .

His chatty style of observational comedy and colourful anecdotes appeals to most audiences and he's pretty smart with it to, occasionally veering off into innovative ideas and threads.  He is the perennial lovable rogue, a comic that you could imagine having a blast with down the pub but wouldn't mind introducing to your mum either. 
 

Ed often appears as a guest on television panel shows including the BBC’s Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, and he has been a presenter on such shows as RTE’s Ed Byrne’s Just for Laughs, which ran for four series. He has also made memorable appearances on shows such as the BBC’s Graham Norton’s Bigger Picture and Never mind the Buzzcocks.
